Gulf State Construction Services Begins Service Shop Expansion at Northshore Toyota in Covington
Gulf State Construction Services is excited to be serving as the General Contractor for a new service shop expansion at Northshore Toyota in Covington, Louisiana.
The project is designed to expand the dealership’s service capabilities and provide additional space to support its growing operations. The new facility will include additional service areas, expanded vehicle inventory storage, office space, employee break areas, restrooms, and other supporting facilities.
As General Contractor, Gulf State Construction Services is responsible for overseeing and managing the construction process, coordinating the various trades and phases of work, and ultimately delivering the completed project to the owner.

Construction Is Underway
The project is currently moving through the civil and early building phases of construction.
Work underway on the site includes:
- Site paving and preparation
- Utilities
- Drainage improvements
- Civil infrastructure
- Building foundation work
With the early site and foundation work progressing, the next major milestones include completing the building slab and beginning erection of the new pre-engineered metal building.
Over the coming months, the site will continue transforming as the new service facility takes shape.
